Bumble is seeking an experienced sales professional to grow our fashion, retail and beauty business. This person will join our newly formed Direct Advertising Sales team, reporting into the Global Director of Advertising. This team is tasked with driving in-app monetization growth by enabling premium, innovative advertising partnerships across Bumble Inc.
You’ll take the lead on driving direct advertising revenue, focusing on swiftly breaking new business with new advertising partnerships with Brands and Agencies in the US marketplace. The ideal candidate will have direct experience selling strategic digital advertising solutions, a proven rolodex of clients in specific verticals, and will thrive in a role that enables autonomy while driving maximum revenue impact.

\n- Enable advertising revenue growth in key advertising verticals by managing and deepening relationships with brand and agency partners to deliver advertising campaigns on Bumble.
- Lead advertising strategy and solutions based conversations and pitches to increase revenue and grow strategic partnerships from C level executives to direct agency buying teams Lead agency partner conversations to increase awareness of Bumble advertising platform to unlock new revenue opportunities
- Swiftly demonstrate the ability to build strategy and drive impact for short and long term revenue growth Identify and secure new advertising partners by establishing strategic relationships and building awareness of Bumble’s growing in-app Advertising capabilities
- Demonstrate expertise in all matters relevant to your book of business, including escalation and troubleshooting to resolve client issues
- Focus on building outbound sales pipeline of new partnership and test opportunities while managing inbound advertiser leads
- Manage ads partnerships from start to finish in partnership with sales support and sales management, and work closely with sales support to minimize campaign or revenue blockers
- Demonstrate in-depth insights of the sales process and product combination
- Lead account planning process that aligns brand and Bumble resources to maximize revenue opportunitiesAssist in the build out of external sales enablement materials - insights, narratives, presentations, etc. that will support business growth and advertiser education across a new and emerging offering
- Digital fluency will demonstrate a deep understanding of media planning, ad product and targeting capabilities, and the advertising measurement landscape
- Work with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal and Finance teams to ensure a collaborative and cross-functional approach.
- Serve as a key contributor to the overall Advertising sales strategy, and partner on key work streams as we launch new ad products and formats across the globe.
- Track record of delivering and exceeding revenue goals
- Strong track record of building relationships across both clients and agencies and proven rolodex of key fashion, retail and beauty accounts and key account decision makers
- Proven ability to establish relationships with advertisers, agency and C-level relationships
- Ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- Able to simplify complex issues and create innovative solutions given set resources
- Experience with digital media (i.e.- Digital Direct Advertising Solutions, Strategic Account Management, Social)
- Track record of building compelling presentations leveraging industry and internal proof points

- BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience 5+ years of experience in digital media sales
- Strong understanding of the media and creative agency landscape
