Centivo is looking to add an experienced Product Manager to its growing Digital Product team. You are responsible for the development of a vision and roadmap for multiple internal or external-facing products based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research, and your own industry insight. You will collaborate with a product team made up of Product Owners, UI/UX, Engineering, and QA to deliver products that align with this vision, meet market/stakeholder needs and are delivered to a high-quality standard. You will directly manage one or more resources related to the domains you own.
Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for planning, initiating, and managing information technology (IT) projects for health care plan administrator.
Lead and guide the work of technical staff responsible for the development of digital product solutions.
Work closely and strategically with a broader product team of UX designers, software engineers, and other stakeholders, to determine requirements for products and features, and spearhead the development of digital product solutions.
Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of health care provider and health plan member needs and user requirements relating to their use of core technical digital products and systems.
Develop and analyze user surveys to inform technical digital product feature prioritization.
Translate healthcare provider and member user needs into technical requirements for the engineering team, identifying gaps and needed feature enhancements for technical digital products and systems.
Draft technical documentation of desired product features to ensure the engineering team understands the digital product features that need to be built, enhanced, and improved in the product.
Draft required documentation of product releases, functional requirements, and/or other product developments, inclusive of the scope of work and testing plans for validation of technical digital product releases.
Document the deliverables to implement new technology partners as part of the digital product solutions offered to providers and members.
Review and study various technical written content, including health plan documents and healthcare regulations to translate that information into user-friendly content for internal digital product development use cases as well as documentation of needed features in provider and member digital products.
Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Develop and manage annual budgets for IT projects.
Develop and manage the work breakdown structure of IT projects.
Monitor performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback.
Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.
Implement data reports using database technology and operations. Identify opportunities where advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning can solve specific needs. Manage and prioritize a list of product ideas and enhancements and break down the backlog into bite-sized pieces of value.
Trouble-shoot product-related technology issues; scope out process improvement plans and implement for future gains and efficiencies.
Coordinate resource procurement activities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in MIS, IT or related field
2+ years of professional experience working in a product role within a healthcare or health plan setting
Preferred:
Strong understanding of SQL databases with the ability to write and edit queries; experience with troubleshooting and data analysis
Experience with agile development practices
Experience with health plan and/or benefits administration
Experience with product releases, functional requirements, and/or development documentation
Experience facilitating end-to-end UAT across multiple platforms used by operational teams
Ability to translate complex platform configuration logic to non-technical stakeholders
Experience with vendor management, supporting system migrations and transforming legacy data based on new system configurations
Proficiency with project management & technical documentation tools, such as Jira, Confluence and MS Office Suite
