If so, joining the Civitas Learning team may be the perfect next step in your career. We are looking for a dedicated Training Consultant to join our Customer Development team. As the Training Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring internal and external teams have a firm understanding of all products within our Student Impact Platform.
What you will do as a Training Consultant:
Training and Learning: Build a deep technical and functional knowledge of the Student Impact Platform and act as the organization’s subject matter expert (SME) for all products. Provide robust onboarding support and training services to customers as well as internal team members, ensuring they are well informed and fully acquainted with all product features and functionality.
Customer Development & Sales: You will work closely with the Customer Development and Sales teams to consult on and design the most robust training services for each customer. As the organization’s SME on the Student Impact Platform, you may be called upon during the sales cycle to provide highly individualized demos of the Platform to prospective customers. You will also deliver training services to current customers and collaborate with the Customer Development team to ensure your approach is aligned to the institution’s strategic goals and priorities. You will serve as the liaison between both teams and the Product team to communicate product enhancements and ensure that all members of the teams are fully knowledgeable on the changing complexities of our Student Impact Platform.
Resources: Develop and update all supporting documentation and resources, including product User Guides, feature and functionality overviews, configuration options, and any other learning resources that will support our customers’ ultimate understanding of the Student Impact Platform and ability to scale adoption and use across their institution.
Establish Relationships: Identify, engage and nurture relationships with customer’s institutional teams tasked with providing ongoing professional development and continuous learning to the campus community.
ROI: Collaborate across the organization to evaluate the effectiveness of training services through various assessment methods, gathering feedback from learners and stakeholders, and using data to continuously improve learning initiatives to measure their impact on overall customer health.
SFDC: Manage and track all training services in Salesforce – including but not limited to virtual and in-person offerings (formal and informal), custom training consulting services, workshops and webinars.
What we are looking for in a Training Consultant:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- Experience in learning and development, training, teaching and/or user education.
- Proven experience in building and fostering strong cross-functional relationships, both internally and externally.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Unwavering integrity, attention to detail, and desire to exceed expectations.
- Superb organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task competing priorities.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a team. Exercise impeccable problem solving skills and a solution-oriented approach to your work.
- Experience using Salesforce and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Experience working at or with higher education institutions is strongly preferred.
This position includes 10-20% travel requirements.
