Clari's Infrastructure organization builds systems and tools to enable engineering velocity in a reliable manner. We partner with engineering teams to establish standards, improve reliability, and increase cost-efficiency. About the Role
The Developer Experience team is responsible for providing tools that enable the engineering teams at Clari to build, test, publish, and deploy code. You will be instrumental in delivering the next generation of services that make it easier for engineers to adopt cloud-native standards and streamline their workflows. Our teams are empowered and expected to contribute to realizing Clari's vision through active development and collaboration with our engineering partners.
As a member of the Developer Productivity Team, you are passionate about improving the lives of your fellow engineers. You have experience building CI/CD pipelines, can name several deployment patterns and advocate for when to use them. You enjoy installing the latest deployment management solution in your local Kubernetes stack and appreciate how the features click together. You have strong opinions, loosely held, and will gladly change your mind when presented with compelling data. You thrive in a collaborative environment where diversity of ideas is encouraged.
This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in Poland. Candidates must be based in Poland and be able to travel to the office in Kraków as needed.
\n- Contribute to the design and development of the next-generation engineering experience including Internal Developer Portal, Self-Service Environment Provisioning, Continuous Delivery Pipelines, Remote Debugging, and Distributed Tracing
- Write functional specifications and design documents for specific functions of Developer Productivity
- Collaborate effectively with engineers across teams to solve complex technical problems
- Collaborate on the delivery of capabilities on the Developer Productivity roadmap
- 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining tools and processes for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software
- Experience working with CI/CD tools, for example GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, TeamCity, or other pipeline tools, following best practices
- 2+ years of quality engineering or software development experience, preferably in Enterprise software development
- Experience with build automation (for example Bazel, Gradle, Maven, Yarn), artifact management (JARs, NPM, container images), and containerization (keywords: OCI, Docker, Jib)
- Past experience with Kubernetes or AWS EKS and the ecosystem of related tools is a plus
- Familiarity with testing, static analysis, and reporting as it relates to pipeline automation is a plus
- Passion for using measurements and data to solve challenging problems and iterate quickly
- Experience working in a remote-first or distributed environment
