The focus is on educational, persona-specific articles addressing industry challenges and solutions without overt branding. Writers must be adept at conducting interviews with industry professionals, crafting compelling narratives, and adhering to detailed briefs. A background construction is a plus but not mandatory.
Scope
Flexible based on the writer's availability, with a minimum of 20 hours per week, with potential to increase.Initial 6-month initial engagement with potential for extension based on performance.Writers may be responsible for producing 1-2 articles per week, depending on scope and complexity.
Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth interviews with construction professionals (e.g., project managers) to gather insights.Write persona-driven content (1–2 articles per week) that explores industry challenges and solutions.Develop articles adhering to detailed client-provided briefs, ensuring tone and style consistency.Collaborate with Procore’s content managers to refine content for clarity and impact.Potentially cold-call or contact professionals using a provided list of leads.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in journalism or professional writing, preferably within technical or B2B industries.Strong interview and research skills, with the ability to develop questions and adapt during interviews.Ability to work independently and produce high-quality content from brief to final draft.Familiarity with construction or related industries is advantageous but not required.
