Salary: P70,000 to P100,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: Monday – Friday (09:00 AM - 06:00 PM EST)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal setting, preferably in personal injury law.
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and legal procedures.
- Seasoned in using software tools such as MS Office Applications and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation software.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to manage multiple activities and work under pressure and time constraints
Nice to Have:
- Background in Clio Manage / Grow is a plus.
- Background in Lawmatics is an advantage.
What will you do?
- Assist attorneys with managing personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
- Conduct factual investigations, including obtaining and reviewing medical records, police reports, and other relevant documents.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the case.
- Assist with legal research on case law, statutes, and regulations relevant to personal injury cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
- Prepare trial exhibits, witness lists, and other materials for trial preparation.
- Assist with settlement negotiations and prepare settlement documents.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, and managing correspondence.
- Provide support to clients by answering questions and providing updates on case status.
- Obtain medical records, lien information, and develop medical chronologies.
- Other work tasks assigned by the management
