About the role:
The Compliance Law Enforcement Request (LER) Liaison Analyst will work within the Regulatory Affairs and Compliance team for the Americas but report to the Law Enforcement Liaison Manager in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Preferred Role Location: Sofia, Bulgaria, or remote
Responsibilities:
● Assist the Law Enforcement Liaison Manager in the coordination and day-to-day function of the law enforcement handling procedures (particularly for the Americas)
● Assist with the development of the global law enforcement handling process to ensure we are compliant with local regulatory requirements
● Work cross-departmentally with various Teams to respond to law enforcement requests in a timely manner
● Contribute to the maintenance and review of global policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date with all regulatory and best practices
● Highlight any potential/emerging risks and help develop strategies for mitigating those
● Act with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of the Company
● Performing any other duties under the guidance of the Law Enforcement Liaison Manager and Director of the Global Compliance Program. The position will have a dotted reporting line to the VP Head of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance - Americas
Requirements:
● 1-3 years compliance experience in the financial services industry;
● University degree;
● Strong written and verbal communication skills;
● Decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills;
● Ability to work independently and in a global team;
● Strong attention to detail.
