The Senior Copywriter will play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of Curology’s brands through engaging and persuasive copy that resonates with our target audiences. This role is responsible for delivering copy for brand, product marketing, and integrated marketing campaigns, creating compelling content across a variety of consumer touchpoints, including website, digital advertising, email/sms marketing, social media, packaging and product copy. The Senior Copywriter will collaborate closely with designers, marketing managers, product marketers, medical and legal teams to craft cohesive messaging that aligns with our brand strategy and drives customer engagement and revenue.
The Senior Copywriter will bring a strong point of view with expertise in the skincare & beauty industry. Our ideal candidate is keenly adept at simplifying complex communications into clear, attention grabbing consumer-friendly copy that is on-brand and on-strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing copy for Curology and Agency skincare brands, including but not limited to; product packaging, website, paid ads, organic social channels, emails/sms.
- Crafts copy based on a deep understanding of the consumer and key insights to drive prospective customers through the consumer journey.
- Channel our distinctive brand voice across a variety of mediums that drives conversion
- Understand the marketing objectives and communication strategy and deliver copy that's on-strategy
- Collaborate with peers to build creative concepts, big ideas, copy and visual expression.
- Communicate proactively and effectively in a fast paced remote environment pivoting based on business needs
- Manage multiple projects both simultaneously and independently, while working cross-functionally with partners to develop solutions with minimal supervision
- Address ambiguity effectively by initiating timely creative solves
- Uphold the existing brand positioning and voice through a ruthless dedication to guidelines, while still innovating and evolving the brand over time
- Ensure legal compliance by working closely with members of the medical and legal departments to fine-tune all copy
- Edit and proofread all copy before releasing, ensuring accuracy and clarity with no typo nor grammatical errors
- 5+ years of copywriting experience for skincare or beauty brands
- Proven track record of creating effective copy for various marketing channels, including email, social media, digital ads, and websites
- A portfolio showcasing your copywriting skills and successful campaign—impactful headlines, well-written copy, and the ability to iterate across various platforms
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Expertise in the skincare industry and a strong understanding of effective marketing language in the category
- Ability to refine and simplify any complex copy into attention grabbing consumer friendly language through embodiment of the brand at any given moment
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing strategies
- Adaptive and flexible with an ability to pivot quick when business objectives change
- Self-starter and a collaborator with a strong POV and can-do attitude
- Attention to detail, who catches and corrects small typo and grammatical errors

Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000
