About us
Digital Science is a fast-growing technology and data business, with customers around the world, working to make all parts of the research process more open, efficient and effective. Digital Science is owned by the Holtzbrinck Publishing Group.
Our products support various stages in the research lifecycle and are mainly SaaS based solutions. While these products are each related in some way, they are also very different, ranging from B2C vs B2B, database products vs customer content hosting products, infrastructure products vs simple apps etc. etc. The industries in which these products are used (and their respective use cases) are also highly varied.
Most parts of Digital Science originate from small businesses that have been acquired, and which continue to be led by their original founders. Accordingly, there is a strong entrepreneurial spirit throughout the organisation.
The global Digital Science business is growing rapidly, and is currently advised by a team of two lawyers based in London, one lawyer in the US, and one in Germany. While separate, the Digital Science team works closely with the Holtzbrinck legal team based across Germany.
