Day-to-Day Expectations:
Client Communication:
- Communicate effectively with clients via email, phone, Zoom, Trello, and Slack to understand their website update requests and provide technical support.
- Explain technical issues in user-friendly language to nontechnical end users.
- Notify clients when tasks are complete and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage and resolve incoming support requests through our ticketing and phone systems.
- Assist with identifying the root cause of customer support issues and provide timely resolutions.
FrontEnd Development:
- Develop and update client websites using modern frontend technologies, ensuring a responsive and visually appealing design on both desktop and mobile platforms.
- Implement and style web pages using Tailwind CSS for efficient and consistent design.
- Enhance website interactivity and user experience with Alpine JS.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to translate UI/UX designs into interactive web pages.
- Optimize landing pages and website calls to action (CTAs) to drive user engagement and conversions.
- Work closely with backend developers, potentially using Laravel, to integrate frontend and backend functionalities.
Content Management:
- Update and add content to existing client websites using in-house content management systems
- Ensure consistency in design standards and a keen eye for aesthetics across all client websites.
Project Management:
- Keep track of time spent on support requests and input time into our billing system.
- Balance multiple priorities and manage tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and strategy sessions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS and Alpine JS.
- Basic knowledge of Laravel or willingness to learn (bonus points).
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for making edits to text, images, layouts, etc.
- Experience with responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
- Ability to analyze user behavior and provide insights for optimization.
Client Support Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in user-friendly language.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple client support requests.
- Proficient in using communication tools like email, phone, Zoom, Trello, and Slack.
Additional Requirements:
- Available to work primarily between 8β―am and 5β―pm Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday.
- Fluent in English; ability to read, write, and speak.
- Solid understanding of basic computer functions.
- A keen eye for good design aesthetics and implementing consistent design standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of related work experience in front-end development and client support.
- Experience with graphic design or familiarity with design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to web development.
- Ability to provide insights and opportunities based on independent data analysis.
Bonus Points:
- Fluent in Spanish; ability to read, write, and speak.
- Proficiency with Laravel and its integration with front-end technologies.
- Graphic design experience to enhance the visual aspects of client websites.
- Demonstrated ability to create efficient, reusable code with a focus on performance.
- Experience contributing to open-source projects or a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
- Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress, Squarespace, Webflow, BigCommerce, and Shopify.
- Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.
- Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
- Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.
