What you will do:
We are seeking an experienced and autonomous Financial Systems Analyst Consultant to provide specialized support on a project basis. This contract position involves delivering expert guidance and execution for our financial data processes, focusing on data analysis, migration, and system optimization. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle ERP Cloud and will independently manage and execute tasks to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of our financial systems.
This position provides a valuable opportunity to gain experience in financial data analysis and ERP systems. As a Financial Systems Consultant, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, managing your tasks and deliverables within the agreed-upon project timeline.
You will have the flexibility to apply your specialized skills to a dynamic and impactful project, with the chance to shape key financial processes within our organization.
Data Analysis and Reconciliation:
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to compare financial information between internal systems and Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUPs and conditional formatting, to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Provide detailed reports and actionable recommendations based on your findings to senior management.
Data Migration Support:
- Develop and execute a data migration plan tailored to project requirements, including data clean-up and migration processes.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
- Recommend and apply best practices for data management and migration in line with industry standards.
Automation Support:
- Identify opportunities for automating data correction and financial system processes.
- Propose strategic recommendations to streamline system improvements and automate data correction, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual tasks.
- Collaborate with the team to implement automated solutions where applicable.
Communication and Reporting:
- Document and communicate detailed findings, progress, and any issues encountered during data analysis and migration activities.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on data analysis, migration status, and automation efforts to senior analysts and stakeholders.
How you will grab our attention:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud or similar financial systems. Demonstrated expertise in supporting financial applications such as General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups, conditional formatting, formulas, and pivot tables for complex data comparison and analysis.
- Experience collaborating with and supporting technology teams who implement financial software solutions.
