Job Description
The Sales Director is responsible for driving revenue and new customer opportunities for the company by meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives.
What you will be doing
- Promoting and selling company products through professional sales techniques and long-term customer engagement
- Meeting and exceeding set sales quotas
- Leading any assigned RFP efforts by collaborating with internal resources to deliver the best possible response
- Innate hunger for learning and continued development
- Providing timely updates on pipelines and forecasts
- Keeping abreast of competition, competitive issues and products
- Attending and participating in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows
- Preparing written presentations, reports, and price quotations.
- Conducting contract negotiations
Qualifications
What your background looks like:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Sales Experience
- At least 7 years of sales experience in marketing, financial service, and/or software or software-as-a-service fields
- Ability to engage large accounts and technical sales projects that cover many months
- Ability to manage a large pipeline of sales opportunities
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Executive presence, technical aptitude, and ability to sell to all levels of the organization are required
