Senior Project Manager - Experian Health
Reporting to the Manager of Project Management, the Senior Project Manager, Implementations is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. You will manage multiple revenue cycle software implementations for healthcare clients ensuring important goals and project scopes are met.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and implementation of projects
- Manage multiple, ongoing software implementations
- Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Develop full scale project plans
- Assemble and coordinate project staff
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Provide direction to project team
- Monitor and report on progress of the project to all partners
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Implement project changes and interventions to achieve project goals
- Project evaluations and assessment of results
- Provide feedback to internal team and development regarding process and product improvement
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics or related field or study
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- 5-10 years project management experience.
- 2+ years leading full life cycle implementations in healthcare
- PMP required (or must attain within 1 year)
- Healthcare industry experience facilitating in-depth knowledge of hospital operations
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management and change management
- Superior collaboration and interpersonal communication skills, flexibility and responsiveness
- 10-25% nationwide travel as needed
