About FarmRaise - we’re making finance accessible to farmers 🌱
FarmRaise builds tools to help farmers master their finances. We turn a bureaucratic, time-consuming nightmare into a quick and delightful ritual that farmers execute in the field or from their tractor.
U.S. farmers lack digital tools to steer their businesses toward profitable and regenerative outcomes. These farms are critical to building sustainable and secure supply chains, to mitigating climate change, and to feeding the world. Starting with a cash flow tracking app and digitized funding application portal, we’re building the full-stack financial services platform for agriculture, empowering farmers to grow their farms into thriving and resilient operations.
We’re a creative and diverse team of farmers, farmers’ kids, and farmer-obsessed techies with experience in agribusiness, farmland investing, fintech, and engineering. One of our founders worked at the U.S. Department of Agriculture before FarmRaise and another grew up on an Angus beef cattle farm. We are committed to improving farm profitability and tackling climate change through agriculture.
We’re thankful to be backed by outstanding investors and advisors 🙏🚀
We’re supported by world-class investors and advisors, including Susa Ventures, Pear VC, Jake Gibson (cofounder of NerdWallet), Levi King (founder of Nav), and Zach Johnson (the Millennial Farmer).
Since launching our app, we’ve grown to over 25K farm businesses and closed game-changing partnerships that enable farmers to unlock more resources on the FarmRaise platform. FarmRaise is only as good as its people, and we’re now on the hunt for an exceptional account manager who can join us on this adventure!
What’s it like to work at FarmRaise?
Our values at FarmRaise
We earn farmer trust. 👨🌾
We earn farmers’ trust in our expertise and our product by communicating clearly and delivering consistently. They can trust our product and our team to provide them with sound advice, handle their information securely, and give them a frictionless experience.
We prefer mistakes to inaction. 💫
We strive to prove ourselves wrong quickly. We say yes to the best option, even if it is not the most conservative one. We take risks founded on a confidence in our ability to execute. We think creatively about how to deliver faster or better than expected, and then we act. We then measure and learn from the outcomes of our actions.
We show up authentically. 💚
We participate together authentically. We honor our individual stories, identities and perspectives. We help our colleagues understand the context that we carry through conscious and intentional disclosure of emotional states. We uphold a working environment where individuals feel safe to participate honestly.
We handle hard with ease and playfulness. 🌱
When faced with difficult conversations, challenging or tedious work tasks, or complex problems, we approach them with curiosity and a growth mindset. We lean into situations with a spirit of playfulness and abundance.
We focus on and execute outcomes. 🎯
We articulate the outcomes we want to achieve in clear, documented and consistent ways. We develop plans and tactics to achieve our outcomes, and then execute them with relentless focus. We align our time and resources to ensure we achieve our targeted outcomes.

About you
You’re an incredible relationship builder with meticulous attention-to-detail and an entrepreneurial spirit.
You embody empathy and an action-oriented approach. Building relationships at work gives you energy and motivation, and you’re able to grow rapport while driving client outcomes efficiently and effectively. You’re detail-oriented, able to listen thoughtfully to stakeholders, and execute projects from start to finish.
You’re ready to engage in product management and excited to interface with engineering teammates about how to better meet client needs through the product.
You know how to gather requirements from clients and use these requirements to influence product development. You love working across disciplines, and you’re able to engage in technical product conversations to further the engineering team’s understanding of client needs. You like to get your hands dirty using no-code tools to create solutions for clients, and you can help develop tech-enabled workflows to amplify the product’s impact. You’re able to translate technical information into actionable and digestible insights for clients. You might even be excited about product management as a longer-term career trajectory.
You’re all-in on what it means to help FarmRaise grow and succeed.
You care about goal posts, data, and exhibit impeccable attention to detail and a strong outcomes orientation (you know the most important metrics to measure, you track your progress against these, and iterate on the fly). You can drive scrappy outcomes with minimal guidance or “big company” resources. You have worked in resource-constrained environments in the past with great success.
While you’re an outstanding individual contributor, you are also highly team-oriented and motivated to help FarmRaise grow. Your fingerprints will not only be on the FarmRaise product, but also across our business strategy and team culture as your voice and leadership influence FarmRaise’s trajectory.
You’re eager to grow enterprise traction at FarmRaise by supporting our enterprise sales function and closing deals.
You’re ready to collaborate with the COO on enterprise pricing and packaging deals. You love to share product recommendations based on what it will take to close FarmRaise’s largest deals. You can analyze product metrics to understand the signals of adoption and up-sell opportunity. You love researching target personas and building repeatable playbooks across segments, and translate the learnings to others when we scale. And, most importantly, you’re motivated to drive a robust top of funnel pipeline and close deals.
