FireMon is currently seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer proficient in both Angular and Java technologies to join our dynamic Asset Management team. As a pivotal member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Our Software Engineers build software at scale to transform how organizations worldwide streamline network security policy management and network and device discovery. As a part of our team, you'll contribute high-quality code to FireMon products that are deployed to the most important institutions in the public and private sectors.
Throughout the product lifecycle, you will be involved from idea generation, design, and prototyping to execution and implementation. Our organization is made up of small teams to support agility and creativity.
\n- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and test software solutions using best practices and modern technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
- Continuously learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Software Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks.
- Full Stack knowledge (Web, Backend, Data, APIs, Infrastructure).
- Extensive experience with Angular framework and related technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Energized by a diverse and constantly evolving environment.
- Experience with Linux operating systems.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience migrating from AngularJS.
