We are seeking a talented Product Designer with a focus on UI/UX for enterprise desktop applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design intuitive and visually compelling interfaces for complex desktop applications. This role requires close collaboration with design leads, product managers, and engineers to create solutions that address our users' needs and enhance their overall experience.
We are a fun, collaborative, energized team of talented yet humble designers. Each designer makes themself available to provide support, feedback or the occasional live design collaboration. We make sharing and leveling up of your fellow designers' common practice through weekly design sessions where we collectively tackle some of our toughest design challenges and share our latest findings and techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize our design system within Figma to create UI mockups and interactive prototypes both independently and under the guidance of a design lead.
- Participate actively in design team meetings, offering feedback and ideas to help enhance the overall user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers to develop solutions that effectively address user problems.
- Work closely with product engineers to ensure the accurate implementation of design concepts.
- Conduct research to understand customer needs and goals, translating these insights into actionable design solutions.
- Engage in design thinking sessions with the design team and cross-functional partners to foster innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- A portfolio demonstrating experience in designing enterprise desktop applications (please include your portfolio link and password in your resume and application)..
- Proficiency in using Figma, including expertise with auto-layout, creating responsive designs, and utilizing variant components to develop engaging UIs.
- Strong understanding and application of UX and visual design principles.
- Practical knowledge of current design patterns, trends, and methodologies.
- Experience conducting customer interviews and possessing fundamental information-gathering skills.
- Ability to present design work, collect feedback, and make necessary adjustments based on input.
