About the Role: We are seeking a meticulous and strategic Financial Modeling Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to supporting our portfolio companies through detailed financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in covenant reporting, financial modeling, and management analysis of financial statements, with the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Covenant Reporting:
- Prepare, review, and analyze covenant compliance reports for portfolio companies.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with financial agreements and internal standards.
- Portfolio Company Financial Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess portfolio company performance.
- Identify trends, assess risks, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Portfolio Company Budgeting:
- Work with portfolio company management to develop and refine budgeting processes.
- Analyze budget variances, provide insights, and support strategic financial planning.
- 3-Statement Financial Modeling:
- Develop and maintain robust 3-statement financial models to project financial outcomes and evaluate potential scenarios.
- Use modeling to support investment decisions, budgeting, and forecasting for portfolio companies.
- Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A):
- Conduct monthly and quarterly MD&A for financial reporting, providing clear, actionable commentary on company performance.
- Present and discuss financial results with management, highlighting key drivers and variances.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of financial analysis experience, preferably with portfolio management or private equity exposure.
- Strong proficiency in financial Modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial Modeling software, and ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
