As a bookkeeper, you will serve as a vital member of the financial team, tasked with delivering timely and precise data that will serve as a foundation for data-driven decision-making, as well as ensuring alignment of management and reporting within EOS processes. This role is anticipated to develop and advance in accordance with the company's ambitious growth objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Data entry and uploads for expenses and cost of goods sold
- Examine the data entry and the import process for credit card transactions.
- Verification & queueing of A/P bills for processing
- Assist in monthly accuracy review of balances & item mapping
- Support the Controller with additional tasks as needed.
- Manage multiple projects while efficiently utilizing your time
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal teams that further the accomplishment of FusionTek’s scalability goals.
- Align reporting and communication with the EOS business framework.
- Engage with all internal and external contacts with appropriate professional soft skills.
This position will adhere to the Pacific Standard Time (PST) schedule to facilitate effective communication with the controller.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years in accounting roles to include accounts payable experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ working competency with accounting software
- Minimum of 1 year working competency with QuickBooks Online version
- Minimum 1 year work experience for privately held companies with 50+ employee
- Work experience in a rapidly growing company
Education
- Associate’s degree or equivalent amount of accounting coursework
Other Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge to implement and follow U.S. GAAP accounting standards
- Familiarity with MSP / MSSP industry (IT or cybersecurity firms)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional attention to detail & takes pride in accuracy
- Technical, digital capability and computer-savvy
- Resourceful & self-motivated; should enjoy learning new things
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
- Careful, thorough, pays attention, & follows direction
- Dedicated & does not shy away from a challenge
