Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for FunToDo’s social platform.
Align product features with business objectives, local market needs, and user-focused experiences.
Regularly present updates and insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clarity on product direction.
Collaborate with the CEO to understand and align with the company’s mission and business ideology.
End-to-End Development Lifecycle
Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to transform low-fidelity wireframes into polished prototypes and final designs.
Work with developers to scope, prioritize, and implement product features in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Continuously refine the product backlog, balancing user feedback, technical feasibility, and business impact.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as a bridge between engineering, design, marketing, and executive teams to ensure cohesive product delivery.
Foster effective communication channels, resolve conflicts and manage dependencies.
Coordinate with sales and marketing for feature launches, ensuring consistent messaging and brand alignment.
Market Research & Analysis
Conducted user research and analyzed market trends to identify product enhancement and differentiation opportunities.
Evaluate the competitive landscape, staying ahead of emerging social platform trends, location-based services, and advertising technology.
Performance Tracking & Optimization
Define, track, and report on key product metrics (user engagement, feature adoption, retention, monetization, etc.).
Use data analytics and user feedback to make informed decisions on feature iteration and product improvements.
Startup Mindset & Scalability
Adapt and iterate quickly in a fast-paced startup environment with limited resources.
Plan for scale, ensuring the product grows efficiently and handles increasing user demands.
Business and Monetization Focus
Develop and implement strategies to drive user engagement and monetization.
Balance user experience with revenue goals, ensuring a sustainable and scalable business model.
Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to align product priorities with business objectives.
User-Centric Design
Champion user experience and design excellence, ensuring the app meets and exceeds user expectations.
Oversee usability testing, analytics, and research to inform product decisions.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years as a Product Manager or Product Owner, focusing on app development and UX design. Experience with social media or consumer-facing apps is highly desired.
Technical Awareness: Comfortable working with technical teams, understanding API integrations, databases, and platform capabilities (no coding required, but a strong technical foundation is a plus).
Mobile: Experience in mobile applications and release, as well as knowledge of iOS Android application publishing, requirements, and restrictions, is highly desirable.
UI/UX Proficiency: The ability to collaborate effectively on wireframes, mockups, and prototype designs, as well as a user-first mindset, is essential.
Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, backlog management, and iterative development practices.
Analytical Skills: Experience with product analytics, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, conveying complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
Leadership: Proven track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams, managing conflict, and delivering successful product releases.
