ROLE DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Engineer (QA) to join our team. The Junior QA will work to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, a keen eye for detail, and a desire to grow in software testing.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting manual and automated tests on software applications to identify defects, bugs, or issues. Assisting in the documentation and reporting of matters identified using designated tracking tools. Collaborating closely with senior QA team members to understand testing procedures and methodologies. Learning and adapting to various testing tools and techniques to enhance testing processes. Participating in team meetings and discussions to contribute ideas and insights for improving testing procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you need to have:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate within the team. Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools (knowledge of Jira, TestRail, and Soap UI is a plus). Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Desire to learn and grow in the field of quality assurance.
