Position Summary
We are looking for a Recruiter to join our high-performing recruiting team. You will work closely with our Lead Recruiter of EMEA and APAC to continue to grow the region. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience of the industry to partner with our hiring team on best practices and own the recruiting process for your roles from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a proactive learner who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment, readily adapting to the dynamic challenges that come with rapid growth. This individual is committed to continuous improvement, both in their recruitment skills and in creating innovative hiring strategies that attract top talent.
This position can be located remotely in the United Kingdom or Ireland and will support hiring across EMEA and APAC. Although you will have an opportunity to support many different departments, the focus will be Revenue, Post-Sales, and Engineering.

What You Will Do
Onboarding & Learning:
Immerse Yourself in HackerOne: Begin your journey by understanding HackerOne’s mission, product, and culture to gain a strong grasp of our position in the market. Spend time with key stakeholders across your hiring teams, the People team, and the organization to establish foundational relationships.
Hands-On Learning: As you familiarize yourself with HackerOne, you’ll start by sourcing for priority roles, gaining insights into hiring needs. This phase will build your foundation, enabling you to independently manage roles within Revenue, Engineering, and Triage once ready.
The Role:
Full Lifecycle Ownership: Take charge of the full recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and initial screening to interviewing, offers, and closing candidates. Your primary focus will be within our Revenue, Engineering, and Post-Sales teams, but flexibility and adaptability across departments are key.
Stakeholder Partnership: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with EMEA and APAC stakeholders, collaborating to create and execute a hiring process that aligns with HackerOne’s goals and growth plans.
Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted partner and advisor to hiring managers. Provide guidance from role definition to offer stage, while learning each hiring team’s specific business goals to better support their success.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with teams across Compensation, People Operations, and Talent Strategy to ensure a seamless recruiting process that aligns with HackerOne’s broader talent goals. Your insights will help inform decisions around candidate experience, role structure, and hiring strategies, ensuring we attract and retain top talent.
Sourcing Expertise: Use innovative and effective tactics to source, attract, and engage high-quality candidates who align with our culture and values. Explore multiple channels and techniques, such as targeted searches, networking, and community involvement.
Build Proactive Pipelines: Proactively build a pipeline for high-volume and critical roles, ensuring a steady flow of qualified candidates, especially for key positions within the Revenue, Engineering, and Post-Sales teams.
Employer Brand Advocacy: Become a brand ambassador by articulating and promoting HackerOne’s unique value proposition to prospective candidates, establishing HackerOne as an employer of choice in the industry.
Exceptional Candidate Experience: Create a positive, seamless candidate journey by maintaining strong relationships through regular touchpoints, transparent communication, and diligent follow-through. Ensure each candidate feels valued and informed at every step.
Optimize Using Data: Regularly analyze recruitment metrics, including pipeline performance, conversion rates, and time-to-fill, to improve decision-making and influence hiring managers with data-backed insights.
Process Improvement: Make ongoing recommendations to optimize and streamline recruiting processes, staying up-to-date with industry best practices and implementing innovations that enhance efficiency and candidate quality.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years total full life-cycle recruiting experience.
At least 2+ years experience as an in-house recruiter
Experience recruiting both engineering and B2B SaaS go-to-market roles (I.e. Account Executives, Sales Engineers etc)
Experience recruiting across EMEA and APAC, with a focus on UK and India
Ability to effectively influence and drive toward results in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Metric-driven and ability to make data-driven decisions
Growth mindset and ability to learn and recruit in new regions as we scale
Must be based remotely in the UK. HackerOne is a digital-first company. This model offers our employees flexibility in time and location. All employees must be able to work and excel in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of recruitment agency experience
Experience within the cybersecurity industry
Experience working for a US Head-quartered scale-up
HackerOne recruits in the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, India, Canada, US and Singapore so experience in these regions is desirable.
Experience using Ashby ATS
Compensation Bands:
UK - £60,000- £70,000 per annum pro-rata
