The Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role in our company's strategic technology initiatives, driving the design and delivery of complex application solutions. They will lead requirements elicitation and refinement within an Agile team context. Working alongside a cross-functional Agile squad consisting of a Squad Lead, Developers, and Quality Assurance Engineers, you will manage the Product Backlog, define iterations, conduct backlog grooming, refine user stories, estimate tasks, and facilitate Sprint Reviews with guidance from the Product Owner.
Responsibilities:
- Embrace agile framework (Scrum or KANBAN), fostering continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to convey the product vision, roadmap, value, and MVP to the agile team, fostering empathy and understanding to shape appropriate solutions.
- Partner with leadership and Product Owners to develop personas, story maps, and a release plan.
- Work with the Product Owner and agile teams to prioritize and align epics, features, and user stories with the product roadmap and MVP.
- Lead refinement sessions with agile teams and business stakeholders to detail user stories and dependencies.
- Conduct sprint review ceremonies, integrating customer insights and feedback into the product backlog.
- Ensure awareness of security and process standards, incorporating them into product delivery throughout the software development lifecycle.
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is required.
- A minimum of 7+ years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong technical background and exposure to mobile application projects.
- Motivated individual comfortable in remote team settings, with a proactive learning attitude.
- Strong communication skills adaptable to both technical and business contexts.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, translating customer needs and business drivers into backlog items.
- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to self-resolve work-related challenges with minimal direction.
- Agility in responding to emerging changes over rigid adherence to plans.
- Deep understanding of agile principles with prior experience as an IT Systems Analyst or IT Business Analyst in Agile environments.
