Harbor is seeking an entry-level Desktop Analyst to join our growing team. The Desktop Analyst is responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting for Harbor’s IT User Experience team. The role requires a highly organized, self-motivated person who can juggle multiple and diverse responsibilities in a remote-work environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal employees. This can be a hybrid position from either Chicago, IL or Moncton, NB or can work anywhere remotely in Canada or the US.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support and Documentation:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues;
- Document and maintain IT procedures and processes;
- Build and maintain internal IT processes.
Asset Management:
- Manage equipment procurement and inventory.
User Management:
- Onboard and offboard employees;
- Handle escalated Helpdesk tickets;
- Administer Microsoft 365 services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or
- 1 to 3 years of relevant IT experience or internship experience in IT;
- Experience with Professional Services environments, is highly desired;
- Technologist with a customer / client service mindset;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Highly collaborative and adept at working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization;
- Able to travel as needed.
