Harbor is seeking a skilled Senior Business Consultant to join our Legal Technology + Operations team. As a Senior Business Consultant, you will lead clients through their projects, providing strategic guidance and innovative business solutions to their needs. You will be responsible for articulating requirements, working with the technical lead of the projects to assist with the design and subsequent implementation and managing the client relationships to deliver exceptional value and results.
This is a full-time, remote position, that can be worked anywhere in the United States or Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Delivery: The team will participate in the delivery of consulting projects, liaising with business team members and the Harbor technical team members from initiation to completion, ensuring deliverables meet the client’s business objectives, extracting requirements, match design specs and client satisfaction which may include quality assurance of the deliverables. Lead project teams in conducting assessments, developing recommendations, and reviewing solutions to address client needs and achieve desired outcomes;
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. Understand client needs, challenges, and objectives, and develop tailored solution designs to address their business requirements and drive success;
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends, Partner product developments, best practices, and emerging technologies; applying these to your consulting. Share insights and thought leadership;
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell consulting services, leveraging existing client relationships and networks;
- Current skills/specialisms/focuses within the team are as follows: Risk & Business Acceptance, Conflicts, Anti Money Laundering & Client Due Diligence, Terms and Outside Counsel Guidelines, Regulatory Compliance, Revenue Growth, Key Account Management, Relationship Management, Information Technology & IT Strategy (Cloud Migration, Merger Execution, Information Governance/Confidentiality/Ethical Screens)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field; advanced degree preferred;
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence clients and team members at all levels;
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with a track record of driving business growth and achieving revenue targets;
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management, business development, and solution delivery;
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget;
- Knowledge of industry-specific domains, such as strategy, risk & business acceptance, finance, or technology, preferred;
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and entrepreneurial spirit with an eagerness to quickly learn and develop new subject matter expertise and business skills;
- Intapp experience would be advantageous.
