We're seeking an experienced Lead Platform Engineer to drive the platform vision and development of our next-generation home care agency and caregiver platform (“Pavillio”). \n- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the underlying infrastructure for Pavillio to ensure scalability, reliability, and high performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in CI/CD pipelines to streamline builds, deployments, and automated testing.
- Establish and promote best practices in DevOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), monitoring, and incident response.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define platform architecture, standards, and shared services.
- Build robust, secure, and efficient systems for deploying, scaling, and monitoring applications in cloud environments (AWS or similar).
- Own and optimize cloud costs while ensuring performance and availability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot performance, reliability, and security issues across the platform.
- Mentor and support other engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and technologies, assessing their applicability to Pavillio and ensuring the platform remains future-proof.

- Work closely with product managers, engineering leads, and other stakeholders to align platform and business goals.

- Travel 5-10%, including overnight travel, domestic & abroad (US and other delivery locations)
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, and/or software engineering roles building on modern architectures and frameworks
- Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and IaC tools (e.g., Terraform or CloudFormation).
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, serverless frameworks, and scalable distributed systems.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, and cost optimization.

The base salary range for this US-based, full-time, and exempt position is $140,000-165,000/yr, not including variable compensation. An employee’s exact starting salary will be based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, location, and the ability to exemplify the HHAeXchange core values.
