We are looking for a remote, talented Sales Development Representative to join an established, well-funded Software Company based in the United States. You will be working directly with the Sales team to build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and provide reliable and high-quality sales support through research, outbound calling and emailing.
The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, detail-oriented, an excellent communicator, critical thinker and incredibly creative. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in a career in sales with a software company that’s built for the new normal.
This role will be working from home permanently and during U.S. business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Daily cold calling into new potential customers from inbound and outbound sources
- Conducting discovery calls with prospects to uncover the initiatives they are working towards and finding opportunities to help impact their business
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
- Find new ways to engage potential customers using all resources available including, Outreach, marketing, product, etc.
- Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
- Work with Sales and Marketing to successfully implement new outbound strategies and cold calling techniques
- Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
- We are looking for someone who can grow with the team over time. You must have a scrappy, hands-on attitude to hit the ground running.
- 1-2 years in a Sales or sales supporting role; preferably with a startup or SaaS company
- Professional English
- Willing to work remotely Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm Central Standard Time
- Strong communication skills via phone and email
- Full-time availability
- Hunger to grow within the role and help shape the Sales department
- Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software (Preferred)
