We are seeking a skilled and creative Social Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere, with experience in Adobe Photoshop being a valuable addition. This position requires expertise in editing 9x16 social content, along with the ability to enhance videos by adding captions, pictures, b-rolls, and other elements.
This is a part-time position (minimum of 20 hours per week). Weekend availability required (hours subject to change)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble engaging 9x16 social content for various platforms.
- Utilize Adobe Premiere to create visually appealing and dynamic videos.
- Use Adobe Photoshop to enhance visuals and create compelling graphics for social media.
- Add captions, pictures, b-rolls, and other elements to elevate the overall quality of video edits.
- Ensure that all edited content aligns with brand guidelines and social media best practices.
- Work closely with the content team to understand project requirements and deliver creative briefs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and consistent visual style.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work hours for the right candidate.
- Proven experience as a Social Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing 9x16 social content.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere; experience with Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to add captions, pictures, b-roll, and other elements to enhance video edits.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
