The company is looking for an Organic Social Media Marketing Manager to replace a lot of the work Sarah has been responsible for throughout the life of the company. The role requires someone who brings a proactive attitude to every aspect of their work. As a key player in Colin Boyd’s team, you’ll be responsible for growing all organic social media platforms including mainly Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, the Podcast, and in the future - TikTok, and Pinterest, while ensuring seamless visual brand alignment. Account reach and increasing followers is paramount. You will work closely with marketing department on podcast initiatives for planning content creation, and the implementation of a structured organic marketing calendar. Your role is to help grow the brand’s reach on social media, ensuring consistent brand message quality across all content while introducing fresh, creative ideas that push the brand forward.

Responsibilities (tasks associated with the role)
Social Media Management and Creation (Instagram, Facebook)
- Develop content with Sarah and execute strategies across Instagram and Facebook to grow audience engagement and brand awareness.
- Create visually appealing content using tools like Canva or other design software, aligning with the brand’s style and guidelines.
- Maintain an organized workflow, ensuring efficient and timely content production and posting.
- Quality-check content to ensure that social media strategies align with the brand’s goals.
- Focus on advancing the brand’s reach through thoughtful content strategy, beyond just posting content.
- Stay open to learning and adapting new strategies for growing social media audiences.
- Collaborate with Sarah to create and schedule posts, including regular content like weekly podcast reels and quote cards.
- In the future, launch and manage TikTok and Pinterest accounts from scratch, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
- Responsible for the following organic marketing channels, in order of most important to least important:
- (1) Instagram, Facebook & visual branding alignment
- (2) Podcast
- (3) YouTube
- (4) TikTok & Pinterest (to launch in the future)
Branding Alignment & Implementation
- Support Sarah to ensure the consistent brand implementation across all content and platforms.
- Act as an additional set of eyes for branding consistency across the business, working closely with the team to align visual and messaging standards.
Podcast Coordination & Support
- Work closely with Marketing Manager and Sarah to ensure Colin has the materials needed for podcasts and related content.
- Assist with organizing podcast schedules, ensuring timely recording and publishing.
- Provide proactive reminders to Colin and coordinate with other podcasts for guest appearances.
Marketing Calendar & Systemization
- Organize and maintain a systematized organic marketing calendar.
- Work collaboratively with the team to plan content in advance and ensure consistency across platforms.
Collaboration with Marketing & Paid Ads Team
- Coordinate efforts with Marketing Manager, who focuses on paid conversions, ensuring that organic and paid strategies are aligned without overlap.
- Maintain communication with the team to execute content in a way that supports broader marketing goals.
Reporting & Accountability
- Report to Sarah Boyd regarding the quality of content and branding.
- Be accountable to Colin Boyd for execution and performance of social media tasks, ensuring deliverables are completed effectively.

Offer Details
This is a full-time, remote, employee position.
Pay range is $65,000-$70,000 per year (based on experience).
Benefits include Health and Dental Insurance and 3 weeks of Paid Time Off.
