About the Role
Lyra Health is looking for someone with exceptional writing, editing, and content development expertise to join the Workforce Transformation team. This position offers the unique opportunity to collaborate with internal partners and clinical experts to create psychoeducational content about supporting mental health at work—including video scripts, articles, handouts, workshop materials, and more.
The right candidate is an independent worker and prolific writer and editor—one who can turn complex concepts and research-backed insights into engaging, accessible, story-driven content. They are a confident collaborator who is able to navigate feedback from multiple stakeholders while keeping the end user’s needs in mind
\n- Create clear and compelling educational content that demonstrates expertise and credibility while honoring Lyra’s voice, tone, and values
- Synthesize notes and research—sometimes dense or complicated material and concepts—into understandable, accessible content
- Scope information appropriately to meet audience needs, channel demands, and clinical concerns, consulting with internal experts as needed
- Write engaging video scripts that balance education and entertainment
- Review and edit drafts from internal partners to be more engaging and accessible
- Collaborate with customer marketing and the many other teams we partner with closely
- Partner with content strategy manager to create and execute our editorial calendar
- Advocate for content excellence by coaching and mentoring others on writing best practices
- Degree in communication, english, journalism, marketing, or related field
- 7+ years of experience writing effective, engaging educational content in a variety of formats
- Experience editing content and negotiating stakeholder feedback
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex subjects into engaging, understandable copy
- Leadership skills with ability to mentor and coach others
- Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in the face of strict writing deadlines
- Passionate about the intersection of mental health and work—including topics like organizational development, training managers, reducing burnout, destigmatizing mental health, and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace
- Please share 2-3 writing samples (educational content and a variety of formats preferred)
