Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:
As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for providing administrative support by handling invoicing, billing, reconciling bank statements, invoices and other accounting administration tasks.
In addition, there will be some budgeting, forecasting and other reporting and analysis requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reconciling accounts and keeping financial records.
- Processing payments and handling daily banking activities.
- Checking and generating invoices, receipts and billing.
- Producing balance sheets, statements and other financial reports.
- Handling the budgeting and forecasting.
- Reconciling bank statements.
- Following up overdue invoices.
- Interaction with the Management.
- Using bookkeeping software, such as Xero system.
- Do accounting administration tasks.
- Experience in bookkeeping tasks and knowledge of accounting principles.
- With 3 to 4 years of experience in Bookkeeping
- Proficiency in finance and knowledge of XERO system.
- Ability to handle invoicing and financial documentation accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail - critical
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Experience working for an Australian company/client with knowledge of GST, Superannuation, or Taxation.
- Comfortable in making phone calls.
- Need to have a quiet place to work.
