Description
Max Retail enables the preservation and growth of the independent retail industry through its platform that easily and frictionlessly connects the supply of unsold inventory to a global network of demand. Max Retail will become the largest supply chain that holds zero inventory, integrated everywhere inventory is managed and sold.
\n- Establish a strategic direction for one or more of Max Retail's product areas, creating alignment throughout the organization and ensuring it supports our product strategy, business objectives, and growth targets.
- Contribute to the product vision and strategy Craft and manage the product roadmap for the designated product areas, ensuring alignment with company objectives and growth goals
- Identify product opportunities and enhancements by conducting market and customer (internal and external) research; build compelling business cases to ensure value delivery
- Cultivate a culture marked by innovation, close collaboration, and a strong focus on customer-centricity by collaborating with the leadership team and SVP of Product to mentor and grow the product team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, customer success, and sales, to orchestrate a smooth and coordinated product development process, ultimately leading to successful product launches
- Champion the customer's voice, both internal and external, within the organization ensuring that product decisions are firmly anchored in customer insights and data
- Establish feedback loops with customers and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve the product offering, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction and engagementPrioritize features and enhancements that drive customer value and business impact
- Manage the entire life cycle of your designated product area, starting from its inception through to launch and continued development, ensuring on-time delivery and high-quality results; supported by product requirements and specifications
- Partner with the SVP of Product to implement best in class product management practices and, when necessary, introduce tools, frameworks, and processes
- Proactively identify and acknowledge when existing processes or strategies are ineffective, promptly communicating the need for change, and providing alternative plans or solutions to ensure ongoing productivity and success
- Establish, with the SVP of Product and stakeholders, regular communication of product strategy, work in progress, and performance metrics to facilitate alignment and transparency in decision-making
- Collaborate proactively with external partners, industry experts, and the broader community, fostering trust and strong working relationships
- Inspire excellence and motivate team members to execute the company's strategy with mastery and autonomy while offering guidance and mentorship to support their growth
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with at least 1 year in a senior role
- Proven track record of implementing a product vision and scaling products in a fast-paced environment while breaking communication and collaboration silos
- Deep understanding of the retail industry, marketplace dynamics, and customer behavior
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
- An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus
