Key Responsibilities
- Subdivision Surface Modeling: Utilize your expertise in subdivision surface modeling techniques to design and develop tools that facilitate efficient and intuitive 3D modeling workflows.
- Production Design Integration: Work closely with the Production Design team to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable software features that streamline the production process.
- Algorithm Development: Research and implement advanced algorithms for subdivision surface modeling, ensuring optimal performance and high-quality results.
- User Experience Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience of our software, seeking feedback from both internal stakeholders and external users to inform iterative design changes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with software engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to integrate subdivision modeling features seamlessly into our existing software ecosystem.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of new features and updates to ensure reliability, stability, and compatibility across different platforms and environments.
- Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation and tutorials to educate users on best practices for utilizing subdivision modeling tools effectively.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in production design, with a focus on subdivision surface modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software, with a strong understanding of 3D modeling principles.
- Solid programming skills, particularly in languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
