Job Description
The role
We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team.
Qualifications
Main responsibilities:
Assist in building and operating a microservice architecture in Azure with guidance from senior team members
Work on highly available systems with thousands of B2B users and zero downtime
Support the development, testing, and deployment of scalable and secure infrastructure using DevOps best practices
Automate operational tasks and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Contribute to the implementation of CI/CD pipelines and assist in the adoption of infrastructure/platform components by engineering teams
Monitor and support cloud environments by integrating telemetry and observability tools. Maintain best practices around notifications and incident response.
Main requirements:
1+ year of experience working with DevOps and cloud infrastructure
Knowledge and basic experience with one of the major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
Familiarity with microservice architectures and an understanding of scalable, distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and CI/CD workflows
Good understanding of at least one of the IaC tools (e.g. Terraform, Azure Bicep, AWS CloudFormation / CDK)
Knowledge of a common scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python, JavaScript/NodeJS)
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, e.g. ELK, Grafana, Datadog.
Proficiency in Linux/*nix environments
Knowledge of Azure and the .NET ecosystem is a plus but not required.
This role is:
Full-time and permanent.
