Practice Description:
Phoenix Management, a part of J.S. Held’s Global Strategic Advisory Practice provides companies and their investors, legal counsel, financial institutions, with the information required to make well-informed business decisions. With experts located across the globe, we support clients in North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East.

Job Summary
Our Operational Value Creation team has an opening for a Managing Director who is a proactive and independent Revenue Enhancement professional. The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated track record of assisting clients with optimizing revenue operations, pricing strategies, sales processes, and customer retention. This role requires a deep understanding of revenue-generating functions, strong leadership skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
Job Responsibilities
1. Client Engagement and Delivery
- Act as the lead advisor on high-profile client engagements, delivering insights and strategies to enhance revenue generation.
- Oversee the development of revenue enhancement strategies for clients, including revenue operations optimization, pricing, go-to-market strategies, and sales performance improvement.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable growth.
- Ensure successful implementation of recommendations and monitor ongoing client satisfaction.
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior leadership, providing strategic counsel on revenue-related matters.
2. Business Development and Growth
- Drive business development efforts to grow the Revenue Enhancement product while identifying new opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients.
- Develop proposals, pitch strategies, and presentations to win new business and expand the firm's market presence.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new opportunities, leveraging personal and professional networks.
- Collaborate with the firm’s marketing and sales teams to promote the product’s services through thought leadership, case studies, and industry events.
- Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities with other practice areas within the firm.
This position requires travel to clients, at times extensive.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates possessing:

Attributes & Background
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a revenue-related function (revenue operations, sales, business development, or growth strategy).
- Proven track record of managing consulting projects focused on revenue enhancement, business transformation, or operational improvements.
- Demonstrated success in business development and client management, with a history of delivering revenue growth for clients and the firm.
- Deep knowledge of revenue operations, sales enablement, pricing strategies, customer acquisition/retention, and business development.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex client engagements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to develop data-driven strategies and solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and build trust with clients.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), analytics tools, and other revenue-related software.
Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
- Must be able to travel extensively to client sites
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to analyze and interpret complex financial data
- Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Additional Information
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $150k - $225k. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
