Job Description
insightsoftware is hiring an experienced Regulatory & Export Compliance Manager to support the business develop, continuously enhance, scale, and manage insightsoftware’s regulatory and export compliance, including matters pertaining to anti-bribery/anti-corruption, and ethics. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, adaptable, eager to learn, and have experience developing compliance programs in rapid-growth environments.
Responsibilities:
- Generally, support the lead counsel for Compliance, Disputes, & Employment, to facilitate advice, training, and awareness to all business areas regarding regulatory compliance, export compliance, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and ethics matters.
- Develop, manage, continuously improve, and scale the Company’s compliance program, including establishing the elements and ongoing goals, streamlining processes, and administering updates.
- Manage and refresh compliance-related company policies, procedures, trainings, and acknowledgements for employees and partners.
- Ensure the Company remains current with key compliance-related regulatory changes affecting the business by, for example, conducting regular training sessions and preparing communications.
- Independently coordinate and formulate responses to internal and external inquiries, audits, investigations, disputes, and complaints (e.g., administrative, litigation, regulatory).
- Develop, manage, continuously improve, and scale the Company’s export compliance program operations including the export screening process and updating the Export Commerce Control Number (“ECCN”) matrix.
- Lead all compliance-related integration activities for newly acquired businesses, including ensuring all newly acquired businesses are onboarded onto insightsoftware’s compliance programs.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong subject matter expertise in export compliance, anti-bribery/anti-corruption compliance, ethics compliance and anti-trust compliance.
- At least 5 years of experience successfully building and managing export compliance, anti-bribery/anti-corruption compliance, ethics compliance and anti-trust compliance programs at global organizations.
- At least 2 years of experience in U.S. government acquisition (subcontracts/procurement), FAR, DFARS regulations, import/export requirements.
- Demonstrated project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously and effectively.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and continuously take initiative.
- Demonstrated leadership experience and fervent desire to be a leader at insightsoftware.
- Prior experience in software industry (strong preference for experience in start-ups/fast growth environments).
- Prior experience at a highly regulated company (e.g., banking, FOCI-mitigated).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree.
- Prior start-up experience.
- Certification in compliance or related fields (e.g., CCEP, CRCM).
