Job Description
As a Senior Accountant here at Ward Law Group, you will be working in a fast-paced, growing work environment where you will be responsible for delivering a world-class client experience that will make a lasting impact on our community. You will be a crucial element to the accounting team. You will manage financial transactions, analyze financial reports, ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments.

Scheduled: Monday through Friday - 9:00 am to 5:30pm EST- 40 hours per week.
Senior Accountant duties but not limited are:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Verify transactions are posted accurately.
- Perform partial checks of the posting process.
- Complete tax forms.
- Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
- Documenting financial transaction details and monitoring the transactions.
- Preparing and filing financial documents.
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Processing Bank/ Credit card Reconciliations.
- Assisting with month- end/Year end close.
- Producing Adhoc reports as needed.
- Working with staff accountants as required.
Salary $1,200-1,400 USD Per month
Qualifications
Senior Accountant Job Qualifications:
- Candidate must be able to speak English and Spanish fluently.
- Candidate must have 4 years of Accounting Experience.
- Candidate must have solid understanding of General Accounting principles and GAAP.
- Candidate must have ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Candidate must have experience with excel, V-lookups, Pivot tables and spreadsheets.
- Candidate must have experience with Microsoft Office and Quickbooks.
- Candidate must have high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration is preferred.
- Candidate must have ability to work independently.
