Job Description
Abramson Labor Group is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified Sr. Associate Attorney to join our Workers’ Compensation team.
Associates will report directly to an assigned Senior Associate and are supported substantively and administratively by a large team of paralegals and support staff.
Key Responsibilities
Essential functions of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Managing a docket of Workers' Compensation cases to resolution
- Conducting depositions
- Negotiating settlements and moving matters towards resolution
- Providing direction and guidance to non-attorneys as needed
- Bringing positivity to the workplace and leading non-attorneys by example
Qualifications
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Comfortable with fast-paced work environments
- 5+ years of Workers' Compensation experience required
- Doctors' deposition experience (preferred)
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Candidates must be in good standing with the California State Bar
