Our client, a US-based insurance company, is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant specialized in insurance to join their team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Insurance team in their day-to-day operations. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Insurance team, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing meetings.
- Assist with insurance documentation, including policy endorsements, certificates of insurance, and claims forms.
- Handle correspondence with clients, underwriters, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain and update client records and databases.
- Coordinate and track insurance policy renewals and cancellations.
- Assist with insurance claims processing and follow-up.
- Prepare insurance-related reports and presentations.
- Handle incoming calls and emails, providing information and addressing inquiries.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in the insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in using insurance software and databases.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling insurance documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
