We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to build out foundational areas of an impactful and high-performing team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses strong organizational skills, and is detail-oriented. The role will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, and help the team deliver comprehensive financial analysis at 1Password.
This is a remote opportunity within Canada and the US.
\n- 4+ years of experience working within strategy, operations, or FP&A position; investment banking, strategic consulting, corporate finance or buy side investing experience within the technology and SaaS industry a plus
- Ability to distill complex financial information into actionable insights for leadership
- Excellent communication skills and “storytelling” ability when presenting data insights
- Excellent attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy
- A strong ability to critically evaluate opportunities utilizing strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Ability to think on your feet and stay organized while priorities shift to meet business needs
- Expert modeling skills, with experience building complex operating models
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting
- Experience with BI Tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) and Finance tools (NetSuite, Anaplan, Salesforce)
- Strong enthusiasm about technology businesses and motivation to work in a fast-paced growth stage company
- Own critical corporate finance processes, including building and evolving our forecasting models to support decision-making around expansion and operational strategies
- Manage a subset of our B2B revenues and operating costs, inclusive of headcount and commissions forecasting and management, prepare monthly reporting/discussion materials for an executive audience, and conduct in-depth analyses to derive actionable insights
- Assist GTM leaders in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes including evaluating new business models
- Distill our business and cost drivers into key metrics that underpin how we communicate financial results, allocate resources, and plan for growth
- Collaborate on producing business cases, scenario modeling, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs
- Work closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Data teams to evolve and improve our accuracy on metrics reporting and build predictable, data-driven forecasts through scalable processes across our business motions
- Automate and optimize efficient and accurate data flow between various financial and enterprise systems allowing for sustainable and scalable reporting
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of relevant software and tools, as necessary
USA-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $115,000 USD and $155,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The Annual base salary for this role is between $98,000 CAD and $132,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
