Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to join our client´s team and help improve the user experience
of their React-based software. The ideal candidate will identify inconsistencies, suggest interface
changes, and recommend new controls and workflows. The candidate will have a strong
understanding of UI and UX principles, a keen eye for design, and a user-centric approach to
problem-solving.
Responsibilities
• Analyze and Identify Inconsistencies: Review existing UI components, workflows, and
interactions to identify inconsistencies and areas for improvement.
• Propose Interface Changes: Suggest modifications to the existing interface, including
new controls, layout adjustments, and design improvements.
• Develop User Workflows: Suggest user flow refinements to ensure intuitive and
seamless navigation throughout the software.
• Design and Prototype: Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to
communicate design concepts and proposed changes.
• Collaborate with the Development Team: Work closely with React developers (and Backend
developers) to implement design changes correctly and align with technical constraints.
• Conduct User Research: Review feedback from users through surveys, usability tests,
and other methods to inform design decisions.
• Ensure Consistency: Recommend document design guidelines, style guides, and
component libraries to ensure a consistent look and feel across the software.
Requirements
• Understanding of React: Understanding of the React framework and its impact on UI
design.
• Proficiency in Design Tools: Experience with tools like Moqups (preferred), Sketch,
Figma, Adobe XD, or similar for creating design assets and prototype suggestions.
• Strong UI/UX Background: Demonstrated experience in both UI and UX design, with a
portfolio showcasing past projects.
• User-Centric Approach: Ability to think from the user's perspective and prioritize user
experience in design decisions.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to articulate design ideas clearly and work
collaboratively with developers and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: A keen eye for design details and a commitment to delivering
high-quality work.
• Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify design issues and propose practical solutions.
Bonus Qualifications
• Experience with Front-End Development: Familiarity with React development.
• Knowledge of Accessibility Standards: Understanding accessibility best practices in
UI/UX design.
• Experience with User Research: Background in conducting user research and usability
testing.
