We are seeking an experienced DevOps Tech Lead to manage and guide our DevOps teams across multiple projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Operations:
- Lead daily discussions with DevOps engineers across multiple projects.
- Guide implementation strategies and provide best practices.

  • Project Management:
- Oversee multiple projects using Kanban methodologies.
- Ensure alignment with project requirements and best practices.

  • Team Leadership and Training:
- Train and assess junior and mid-level DevOps engineers.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply best practices in cloud operations and infrastructure management.

  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce best practices for security and compliance.

  • Incident Response:
- Mentor teams on incident response practices.
- Share established procedures to ensure preparedness.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
- Maintain effective communication with developers, managers, and stakeholders.
- Ensure clear and concise communication.


Requirements:
  • Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in AWS (or another major cloud provider), Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab), and various cloud services.
- AWS (or other cloud) certifications are a plus.

  • Leadership and Mentoring:
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring DevOps teams.
- Ability to train and assess junior to mid-level engineers.
- Strong code review skills and commitment to technical excellence.

  • Project Management:
- Experience managing multiple projects using Kanban or similar methodologies.
- Ability to interpret project documentation accurately.

  • Security and Compliance: Knowledge of best practices for security and compliance in cloud environments.

  • Incident Response: Familiarity with incident response procedures and the ability to teach and mentor teams.

  • Collaboration and Communication:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Upper-intermediate level of English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
