- The Position
- Quench’s billing team is responsible for the daily billing processing and distribution functions of the business, including (1) review and distribution of ERP-generated invoices, (2) download, creation and upload of print invoices to Quench’s outside vendor, (3) upload of portal billing invoices and (4) creation, maintenance and distribution of spreadsheet or customized billing. This team is also responsible for the review and processing of customer credit memos. Given the growth in the business, Quench is in need of a dedicated Billing Analyst to focus on the credit memo process. In performing his/her duties, the Billing Analyst will need to be proficient at researching issues, and exhibit a degree of creativity and latitude to identify the appropriate course of action, including collaborating with other functions to achieve resolutions. Additional responsibilities include: updating SOPs, assisting internal teams with billing-related questions, and working on ad hoc and process improvement projects as necessary.
- Responsibilities
- Review and properly process submitted credit memos
- Assist the team in other billing-related processes and responsibilities, including invoice processing and creation, SOP development and research of billing issues
- Exhibit professionalism in all customer interaction
- Perform other process improvement or billing-related ad hoc projects, as necessary
- One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in billing or equivalent role
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Salesforce / Zuora experience a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting / billing concepts
- Strong research skills and attention to detail
- Extremely organized with strong data entry skills
- Customer service experience a plus
- High degree of professional integrity; really cares about getting the right answer
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
