It is a very exciting time of growth for Quisitive, and we are currently seeking a customer service-focused, Associate Project Manager with a passion to drive process, consistency and communication in support of successful project delivery for our clients. This position will be responsible for the initiation, planning, execution (including managing and controlling) and closure of projects within the established scope, budgets and timelines. The role is a consultative, billable position measured on service satisfaction and account utilization.
This role can be located anywhere in the United States, but we would prefer Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Chicago, Phoenix or Tampa.
What will this role entail?
As an Associate Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to learn and work with the latest Microsoft solutions and work with your team to manage assigned client responsibilities working remotely. In addition, flexibility in your schedule to assist your assigned clients outside of normal business hours during emergencies is expected.
- Reporting and tracking of resource projections and utilization
- Edit presentations and Ops Reviews
- Create and publish all project status reports, meeting minutes and metrics
- Management and support of the day-to-day execution of assigned projects and scope, including change control, risks, action items, issues and decisions
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to the Project Team
- Ensure project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
- Compile metrics relating to IT project success, project attributes, individual productivity and adherence to defined processes
- Track costs and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met
What’s required to be successful in this role?
- 1-3 years client project management/process coordination experience
- Passion to delight the customer and provide amazing customer-service
- Experience working with business decision-makers
- Experience and ability to deescalate potentially tense client situations
- The ability to bring creative ideas to the Quisitive team and the tenacity to execute them.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to seek out underlying assumptions through probing, questioning, and listening
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to listen attentively and to clearly and effectively communicate information
- Ability to work well with cross-functional groups
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at all levels of the company
- Demonstrated professionalism and courtesy in responding to phone calls and emails
- Ability to work in a team, facilitate effective team interactions, and to foster a positive work environment; willingness to assist teammates in order to achieve departmental goals
- Strong in organizational, reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to support the management of multiple projects, meet deadlines, and appropriately adjust priorities in an evolving work environment with shifting time frames; self-starter with a high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow through
- Ability to become familiar with Microsoft technology such as Azure, Office 365 or other Microsoft Platforms such as: Teams, SharePoint, SQL, System Center, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
What else would set me apart?
- Familiarity with Microsoft technology such as Azure, Office 365, Teams, or other Microsoft Platforms such as: SharePoint, SQL, System Center, etc…
- Business Analysis experience supporting client initiatives
- Resource and process coordination experience with internal teams
- CAPM, ACP, SCM, PSM, or PMP certification
- Previous consulting experience
