What you bring
- Expert in-house payroll experience in the Netherlands
- Experience implementing and managing payroll software
- Experience working on payroll systems and services in a multi-product, high-growth scale-up company
- Proficiency in data manipulation (eg sql, excel, sheets)
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
- You understand the need and ideal to work largely asynchronously.
- It's not required to have experience working remotely, but it is considered a plus.
- You write and speak fluent English.
- You write and speak fluent local language in the country where you are an expert
- Experience in payroll operations UAT (User Acceptance Testing) management is a plus, but not a requirement
Key Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain the future of payroll with Remote product, engineer and operations teams.
- Ensure proprietary payroll software compliance with all government, corporate and country-specific regulations, policies and procedures.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of proprietary payroll software deployment in given country.
- Create and manage all proprietary payroll software training resources, including quick start guides.
- Maintain frequent communication with stakeholders
- Coordinate with remote internal teams to facilitate testing and integration.
- Work closely with remote teams, including Product, Engineering, Tax and Accounting to develop Payroll solutions through proprietary software.
- Identify solutions to challenges, inconsistencies, and obstacles by collaborating with necessary stakeholders.
- Evaluate Vendors based on needs and obligations of Remote to ensure compliance with statutory requirements as well as company requirement

The base salary range for this full-time position is from $45, 900 to $103,350. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.
