We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.
We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.
We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.
About the Role
As the Patient Safety Navigator, you will be a key partner with both clinical and non-clinical teams. You’ll offer patient safety and clinical risk and quality care support to providers and patients and will be a go-to person for resolving questions and concerns related to receiving and delivering care at Rula. The Patient Safety Navigator will provide a knowledge base of patient safety clinical risk information, related licensing regulations, clinical risk processes (assessments, safety plans, proper steps in managing patient safety and clinical risk challenges), scope of practice, and the code of ethics for all behavioral health professions. As a natural problem solver, you are able to quickly apply (and clearly communicate) clinical risk knowledge to complex questions. Your day-to-day life will be filled with opportunities to identify and mitigate risks, navigate patient safety monitoring systems, help implement cutting-edge safety protocols/initiatives, and support quality improvement initiatives. The role will be a go-to-resource for therapists and Rula’s internal teams to offer guidance and support on patient safety issues that arise in telemental health practice. Join us on this exciting journey, where your impact on patient safety and managing clinical risks will reverberate throughout the organization, making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
At Rula, we pride ourselves on a team culture that values open communication, shared responsibility, and a passion for enhancing patient care. The ideal candidate will find our commitment to staying at the forefront of industry best practices, collaborating across departments, and leveraging data analytics to be both challenging and rewarding. We have a growing Clinical & Quality team that is highly valued for our expertise by our network of providers and internal Rula team members. Confidence in one’s clinical skills, ethical practice based decision making, and experience as a provider all come into play when we work together. We are high performing, work fast and efficiently, and collaborate with multiple teams across our organization to strengthen our system of care.
