About the Role
The Care Access engineering team at Rula is the team responsible for connecting prospective patients with therapy or medication management that fits their schedule and their budget. As a staff software engineer on Care Access, you will help drive the product and engineering direction of the patient funnel and related experiences, and lead your peers to build seamless, reliable product experiences. This role comes with significant scope and autonomy, as well as the opportunity to help shape Rula’s overall technical direction. Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience working directly as a software engineer, with a history of designing, building, and scaling modern database-backed web applications.
Previous experience in a tech lead, staff, or other technical leadership role, where you made complex engineering tradeoffs and/or determined architectural direction for your team, and led large projects end-to-end.
Comfortable with ambiguity and demonstrated ability to resolve ambiguity into clear deliverables that are in line with organizational goals.
Experience mentoring engineers of all levels and setting a strong technical bar.
Experience working closely and communicating seamlessly with product, design, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications

Production experience with React, Typescript, Node.js, Ruby on Rails, Kafka.
Experience with A/B testing or other product experimentation.
Collaborative working style, with a bias to helping others in the team grow and giving/receiving feedback
