About the Role:
We’re looking for people with a strong technical background and motivation to have a big impact. You are passionate about solving both technical and business problems and delivering values to customers. You can navigate through a complex codebase and are comfortable in dealing with lots of moving pieces.
You will:
Scope and lead high-impact technical projects
Directly contribute to core interface design and write code
Own the successful delivery of big projects, including coordination, planning, design, development, testing, and rollout
Guides the technical direction of the team to ensure success. Be a role model and uphold team for high standard
Work effectively cross functionally and mentor the next generation of technical leaders at Sardine
An Ideal Candidate Has:
Have a strong technical background, including 7+ years of hands-on software development experience
Experience in architecting and designing full-stack systems that delivered critical impact to a business
Enjoy being a generalist, working on frontend, backend, infrastructure, data pipelines, or billing pipelines as needed to solve problems and delight our users. (You don’t need to be an expert in all of these but it helps to be interested in learning about them.)
Skilled in working with technical and cross-functional stakeholders across the company: building alignment, driving decision making, and communicating transparently
Experience mentoring and helping in the development of engineers and peers
Have high standard in coding, code review and other development best practices
A track record of successfully delivering high-quality production services and systems.
Customer-centric approach with a strong emphasis on empathy towards users.
Ability to thrive in an agile, fast-paced environment
Experience in Golang and Google Cloud is a plus
Proficient in English - from casual chats to formal reports.
