Job Title Senior Product Manager Job Description About Your Role: Dotdash seeks a Senior Product Manager who will help evolve our world-class publishing platform that is used by 100+ development teams driving innovation for more than 40 brands that reach over 200 million users each month. Join our team and contribute to the optimization and evolution of the publishing platform for America’s largest digital and print publisher. This role reports to the Senior Director of Product, Publishing Platform. About Your Contributions: Product Vision: Work with technical leaders and editorial stakeholders to build a roadmap for the features and capabilities of our publishing platform. Majority of the applications that make up our platform were built in-house in the past two years. User Focus: Create solutions for users first, help your team to cultivate empathy for their end users and be an advocate for their needs. Research what your users might want or need to ensure we are creating products for them that are as helpful as possible by conducting discovery, qualitative research, and competitive analysis. Orchestration: Prioritize and drive initiatives across multiple engineering teams, acting as the product SME from a functional perspective, showcasing, championing, and finding ways to constantly innovate. Product Development Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional, agile teams to conceptualize, develop, launch, and optimize features in a dynamic environment. Make informed decisions on product functionality to align with business goals. Technical Aptitude: Develop a deep understanding of Dotdash and vendor APIs, their utilization, and their impact on the platform ecosystem. About You: Experience: 4+ years of hands-on product management, with a strong track record of overseeing internal tool development. Effective Communicator: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, adept at working with diverse teams and stakeholders, including senior engineering leaders and other product owners. Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize data to drive informed product decisions. Agile Proficiency: Fluent in Agile principles and methodologies, capable of navigating and leading teams in an Agile environment. Leadership and Innovation: Demonstrated capability in developing strategic product plans, solving user problems, and delivering innovative solutions. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
