We are looking for a Senior Devops Engineer (remote) to join the Federal Engineering team at SentinelOne.
**Given the unique requirements of this role, US Citizenship and a work location in the United States is required**
This team is at the critical intersection between the unique compliance requirements of a regulated environment, and establishing a consistent software experience for users and developers within commercial environments. They work across organizations to influence commercial practices and reduce the time from commercial to government deployments.
You will help implement software and processes to efficiently deploy in a government regulated environment. You will leverage industry best-practices to deliver a scalable and compliant path to production, and will operate as part of a team that maintains existing services and processes.

What will you do?
- Implement highly scalable, reliable internal CI/CD processes for our federally regulated environment.
- Drive continuous delivery of software, resolve incidents and run incident post-mortems, provide feedback on engineering architecture decisions.

- Enhance documentation and processes related to Federal DevOps efforts.
- Ensure that all aspects of our infrastructure meet and maintain FedRAMP compliance standards.
- Stay abreast of the latest FedRAMP guidelines and integrate them into our operational practices.
What skills and knowledge should you bring?
- 5+ years of experience in running SRE/DevOps/Infrastructure Engineering for SaaS products.
- 3+ years production experience with orchestration systems like Kubernetes, Nomad or Mesos (we are a Kubernetes shop).
- Any experience with Rancher, Platform9 or other managed k8s providers is desired.
- Familiarity with on-prem and air gapped deployments on top of k8s is desired.
- 3+ years experience in running operations at a large scale.
- Preferred experience in implementing and supporting Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), and other applicable government standards, policies, and regulations (e.g., NIST 800-137, NIST 800-53, 800-37 and 800-39).
- Demonstrated experience with Kafka and Redis.
- Multi-cloud experience in AWS/GCP (expertise within AWS is preferred).
- Familiar with IaaC and tools (Terraform or Pulumi).
- Familiarity with CI and practical delivery using any of Travis, CircleCI, Codefresh, Spinnaker, Jenkins or buildkite.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies like blue green, rolling deploys, canary deploys and best practices around deployment automation (with tools like shipit or spinnaker) is desired.
- Demonstrated professional experience working in at least 1 main language (Python/Go/Ruby/etc).
- Familiarity with SecOps and Compliance processes is desired.
- Polyglot experience with other tools – we integrate with more tools every day.
- Keeping a pulse on latest cloud technology trends and Open Source.
