As a freelance Designer at Single Grain, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, compelling paid media ad creatives, including static images and GIFs, for a diverse range of clients across multiple industries. You will be the lead designer on specific clients and work closely with creative strategists to bring their strategic visions to life.

Responsibilities:
- Designing Paid Media Ads: Create engaging and visually appealing ad creatives that meet client specifications and industry performance best practices for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Ads.
- Collaborating with Creative Strategists: Understand project briefs provided by our creative strategists and translate them into innovative design concepts that captivate target audiences.
- Develop strong client understanding: review all provided brand assets and join calls with clients during onboarding to ensure a strong understanding of their brand and expectations.
- Delivering on Time: Ensure that all designs are delivered on schedule, maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Revisions and Feedback: Be open to feedback and make quick revisions to meet client expectations and achieve optimal ad performance.
- Staying Updated: Keep abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the quality and effectiveness of your work.
You are someone who:
- Demonstrates a strong portfolio of performance creative across paid social channels, showcasing both static and gif design ability.
- Has mastered multiple creative styles, extra points if you have experience in typography, illustration, and/or icon making.
- Has a proven track record working within an agency or an in-house creative team, meticulously managing project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are completed promptly and meet quality standards.
- Possesses a strong creative vision and the ability to follow a creative brief to generate innovative design solutions that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Maintains excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients as needed effectively.
- Quickly adapts to changing project requirements and priorities, efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Is improvement-obsessed, constantly improving on your design skills and ahead of the curve in industry-wide design advancements.
- Is technically skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and/or other relevant design software.
Prior Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years in graphic design with 1 year of experience focusing on paid media ad creatives.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create compelling ad creatives across different formats and platforms.
- An understanding of paid media specific design requirements such as safety zones and aspect ratios.
- A degree in Graphic Design or Art, or an equivalent formal design training.
Compensation/Scope: $50/hr, 15 - 30 hours a month
